According to Ladbrokes, the French former professional tennis player is now heavily odds-on at 1/5 to be dropped before the Australian Open in January 2015.

Mauresmo has been coaching last year's Wimbledon champion for less than a month when he was beaten by Grigor Dimitrov 6-1, 7-6, 6-2.

The loss to Dimitrov has also seen Murray drift out to 20/1 to be crowned as this year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
