Mark Cavendish says the support he's felt for his team not just from Yorkshire, but all over the UK, was "phenomenal".
The cyclist was speaking from Leeds ahead of today's opening ceremony for Le Tour de France, which starts with the Grand Depart on Saturday.
Cavendish told the media conference that those who cycled the 2007 Grand Depart from London still spoke of the atmosphere, but he said he was sure Yorkshire "would outdo that".
