A former Downing Street adviser has appeared in court charged with making and possessing indecent images of children.
Patrick Rock, previously one of David Cameron's advisers, spoke only to confirm his name and address when he attended a bail hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
Rock has been charged with three counts of making indecent photographs of children, and one count of possessing indecent images of children, the court heard.
The charges relate to more than 60 images, all described as category C - the lowest on the scale.
Rock, who has no previous convictions, was granted conditional bail. He will appear at Southwark Crown Court on 17th July.
