The mother of a pupil has stabbed a teacher to death in front of her class in France.
The 34-year-old teacher was leading a class of five and six-year-olds in the school in Albi, southern France when the mother attacked on Friday morning.
French president Francois Hollande described the killing at the Edouard Herriot pre-school as an "abominable drama".
Mr Hollande has sent the education minister to the region in response to the incident.

The man, who was in his 30s, has not been identified, while several other people are believed to have suffered serious injuries.
