Sunny spells before wet and windy conditions arrive

Wet and windy conditions in the northwest of the UK will steadily move southeastwards through the day, reaching southeast England by late evening.

It will feel much fresher in the northwest and gales are possible in the far north of Scotland.

Ahead of the rain in the southeast, it will be another fine and very warm day with sunny spells.
