Theresa May has defended the appointment of Baroness Butler-Sloss to the wide-ranging inquiry into allegations of child abuse at a number of institutions saying she had no regrets about the decision.

Police 'will need more resources in sex ring investigation'

Labour MP Simon Danczuk, who claims he was warned not to challenge Lord Brittan over the Parliament paedophile dossier, has said more police resources will be needed as they investigate the claims further.
