A three-year-old boy who was discovered in his family's swimming pool died on his birthday.
Jack Rowe was found unconscious and unresponsive at the family's home in Upavon, Wiltshire, and was pronounced dead hours later in hospital in Southampton after he was airlifted there.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "He has been positively identified as Jack Rowe.
"Wiltshire Police will now work with Hampshire Police and partner agencies to prepare a report for the coroner's office."
His parents recruited neighbours and residents to search for the youngster after he went missing from his home. Just after police arrived to help with the search, he was discovered in the swimming pool in the back of the family home shortly after 7.20pm.
