Bradby: 'This looks to me like a tough, tough reshuffle'

ITV News Political Editor Tom Bradby sees Michael Gove's loss of his role as Education Secretary as a "punishment" and suggests Esther McVey - who joins Cabinet in the reshuffle but remains Employment Minister - paid the price for her intervention in the Maria Miller's expenses row.


This looks to me like a tough, tough reshuffle. Wouldn't one say Gove to Chief Whip was a punishment?


Can't also help feeling Esther McVey might have got more if she had stayed on message over Maria Miller.

Cameron: New Cabinet team 'reflects modern Britain'
