The 27-year-old QPR striker, who was on loan at Newcastle last season, was stopped by police in March, with a test showing he had 56mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath - 20mg over the limit.

A judge at Newcastle Magistrates' Court banned Remy for 14 months and fined him £3,750 plus £200 costs and a victim impact surcharge of £120.
