Hammond set to succeed Hague as Foreign Secretary

Defence Secretary Philip Hammond is set to succeed William Hague as the next Foreign Secetary, ITV News Political Editor Tom Bradby understands.

William Hague stepped down as Foreign Secretary in a government reshuffle last night.


Hague out as Foreign Sec. I understand P Hammond likely to be his replacement.

The Labour press team also seemed to confirm that Mr Hammond was set for the promotion.
