Footballer Nile Ranger has been fined for "booting" a jammed door at his penthouse flat three times.
CCTV footage shows the former Newcastle United player kicking the communal front door of the apartment block and in turn damaging a lift door, wall and glass panel.
The 23-year-old and a young woman he was with at the time, managed to gain access to the property with the third kick, Swindon Magistrates' Court heard.
Nick Barr, prosecuting, told the court there was CCTV footage of the incident, which shows three "quite hefty kicks" to the door, but asked for it not to be played in light of Ranger's guilty plea.
"It was in the early hours of the morning, he was in the company of a young lady. He kicked the door three times and on the final kick he gained access," he added.
