For many it will be fine, dry and it will turn hot and humid across southeastern, central and eastern England with highs of 33 Celsius (91F).
Some thundery showers are expected across central, then northern parts of the UK as we head through the day.
However, it will be cloudier and cooler in the southwest. Thunderstorms are expected to spread from the south later this evening.

It seems thousands of people were woken up by loud claps of thunder, seemingly constant flashes of lightning and torrential rain.
