Monitors from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) had gained access to the site where a Malaysian airliner crashed in eastern Ukraine, the mission's spokesman said.
Michael Bociurkiw said: "Well we were promised access. We received it [...] Our reporting, which we will do tonight will help the officials at a higher level decide on the next course of action".
Thousands of online users have taken to social media to call for the victims of the Malaysian airliner crash to be returned to loved ones.
United States intelligence officials admitted that they do not know who fired the surface-to-air missile that downed flight MH17.
