Armed rebels have blocked international observers from approaching wreckage of the Malaysian airliner in east Ukraine, a witness says.
A representative for the separatists is said told monitors from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe the rebels were conducting their own investigation and would share the results later.
Local staff for the emergencies ministry were also heard telling the OSCE they had brought bags containing bodies to the road at the edge of the crash site but they would not say where the bodies had been taken.
Thousands of online users have taken to social media to call for the victims of the Malaysian airliner crash to be returned to loved ones.
United States intelligence officials admitted that they do not know who fired the surface-to-air missile that downed flight MH17.
