Israel and Hamas militants have continued to trade fire as casualties of the conflict increased.

An explosion is seen in Gaza as Israel continued aerial strikes.

Explosions were heard throughout the night in Gaza, while air raid sirens sounded in Israel warning citizens of approaching rocket fire.

Palestinian officials say 341 Palestinians have now been killed. Israel said three soldiers and two civilians have died in the violence.

The Israeli army said more than 90 rockets had been fired into Israel on Saturday, despite an ongoing ground offensive in Gaza.
