Investigators to examine second black box from MH17

Air investigators are to examine a second black box which was recovered from flight MH17 today.

The data could reveal if the pilots were aware of a missile coming towards the plane and what happened in the last few seconds of the flight if they were able to speak.

Picture suggests rescue workers uncovered black box

Rescue workers have recovered a flight recorder from the wreckage of the Malaysian airliner, new pictures suggest.

The images, taken on Friday, show men wearing Ukrainian Emergency Ministry uniforms in the village of Hrabove, in the eastern Donetsk region inspecting what appears to be a 'black box' recorder.

As search teams scour the area, one man is shown walking across the field carrying the orange-coloured box and handing it to a colleague.

Audio from another man who is not viewed can be heard saying "flight recorder" in Russian.
