Fire put an end to Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton's hopes of pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix and he will once again have to start from the back of the grid.

Hamilton had not set a time when he came into the pits with the rear of his car in flames, so for the second week in succession he will have to try and fight his way up from the back. His Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg took pole.

Hamilton was unhurt and tweeted shortly after the incident.

At last weekend's German Grand Prix, the British driver fought his way to third after starting in 20th position.
