London 2012 golden girl Laura Trott has fought off illness and her own Team GB colleague to achieve glory at the Commonwealth Games.
The double Olympic champion narrowly beat Wales' Elinor Barker to secure gold for England after a photo finish to the women's points race.
Trott, who has been suffering from a kidney infection, finished level with Barker on 37 points after contesting 25 km in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
But Trott took the win after replays showed she had won the final sprint.
Pop princess Kylie stole the show as she closed what has been dubbed the 'best ever' Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Jamaican sprinter said the only negative at the Commonwealth Games was the weather, as he hailed the "brilliant" event in Glasgow.
Pop princess Kylie will be top of the bill tonight as the Commonwealth Games comes to a close.
