Former Manchester United manager David Moyes will face no action over an alleged altercation in a Lancashire wine bar, police have announced.
Moyes spoke to officers voluntarily after 23-year-old builder Josh Gillibrand claimed he was assaulted at the Emporium bar in Clitheroe in May.
Witnesses reported Moyes, who had been sacked by Manchester United the previous month, was abused by a drunken group of young men shortly before he entered the bar.
Mr Gillibrand denied that he or his friend were involved.
Lancashire Police today confirmed no further action will be taken against any party.
