Firefighters have said their efforts to battle a major blaze on Eastbourne Pier is being hampered by high winds.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said crews are making "reasonable progress" in attacking the fire from the "coastal side of the building, from the beach and from underneath the Pier".
Fire crews are being assisted by the Coastguard, the RNLI and Sussex Police, while South East Coast Ambulance are also at the site.
