Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Adlington said she "does not regret" her decision to retire from swimming, as she continues her new role commentating on the Commonwealth Games.
She told Good Morning Britain she is enjoying watching the younger generation coming through.
Adlington, who became Britain's most successful swimmer in one hundred years, said it was the first time she had ever been to an opening ceremony and to watch Scottish swimmer Hannah Miley win the first gold medal of the Games, was "absolutely incredible".
Pop princess Kylie stole the show as she closed what has been dubbed the 'best ever' Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Jamaican sprinter said the only negative at the Commonwealth Games was the weather, as he hailed the "brilliant" event in Glasgow.
Pop princess Kylie will be top of the bill tonight as the Commonwealth Games comes to a close.
