Three top Hamas commanders killed in Israeli strike

Three senior Hamas military commanders have been killed in Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip, the Islamist militant group said.

Hamas named the men as Mohammed Abu Shammala, Raed al-Attar and Mohammed Barhoum and said they were killed in a bombing of a house in the southern town of Rafah.

Israeli tanks 'open fire in Gaza' despite 72-hour truce

Israeli military tanks have opened fire in the southern Gaza Strip despite a 72-hour truce that began this morning, the Palestinian interior ministry stated.

Pro-Hamas media reported that four people have been killed in the shelling.

The Israeli force had no immediate comment, Reuters reported.
