One of Britain's most wanted men held in South Africa

A convicted drugs trafficker, regarded as one of Britain's most wanted criminals, has been caught in South Africa.

Martin Evans, 52, from Swansea, was arrested in Johannesburg on Saturday night after three years on the run.

He was jailed for 21 years for conspiring to supply cocaine, MDMA and ecstasy, and fraudulent trading.

Evans failed to return to prison in 2011, after being released on licence six years into his sentence.
