A woman has been charged with murdering a seven-year-old girl who died from a head injury.
Kay-Ann Morris, 23, is in police custody and will appear before Nottingham Magistrates' Court tomorrow accused of the killing the girl, who has yet to be identified.
The child's body was discovered at a house in Beckhampton Road, Nottingham on Thursday evening, after concerns were raised about her safety.
A post-mortem examination established the preliminary cause of the girl's death as a head injury.
