Tractor hits bus in Jerusalem in 'terrorist attack'

A construction vehicle slammed into a bus in Jerusalem and overturned the vehicle in what Israeli police have called a possible terrorist attack.

No passengers were on the bus when it was hit but two people were reportedly injured in the incident - which took place in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish neighbourhood - according to an ambulance service.

A police officer shot the construction vehicle driver and "neutralised him" in what "looks like a terrorist attack", a police spokesman said.

The vehicle is reportedly a tractor and the driver is believed to be dead, according to Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
