Three top Hamas commanders killed in Israeli strike

Three senior Hamas military commanders have been killed in Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip, the Islamist militant group said.

Hamas named the men as Mohammed Abu Shammala, Raed al-Attar and Mohammed Barhoum and said they were killed in a bombing of a house in the southern town of Rafah.

Govt releases £3m for Gaza humanitarian effort

Three million pounds in aid will be given to trusted charities working in Gaza to help those affected by the recent conflict, the International Development Secretary told Good Morning Britain.

The money will be used to boost medical supplies, water and child protection services with the aim of reaching half a million Palestinians, Justine Greening said.
