An Israeli soldier has been arrested after allegedly stealing money from a house in the Gaza Strip, according to newspaper Haaretz.
The soldier reportedly confessed to the allegations shortly after being detained.
Some of the suspect's colleagues reportedly expressed their outrage over the arrest.
Several soldiers from the suspect's company apparently refused to obey orders leading to two men being sent to a military prison and another two removed from combat.
An Israel Defence Forces spokesman told the newspaper: "Due to a disciplinary incident that occurred within the battalion, commanders decided to review the event, and a military investigation was launched".
There have been two days of quiet in Gaza. No rockets or missiles, no more destroyed houses, no more ambulance sirens screaming.
