Teens 'threaten to cut kid's throats in racist bus attack'

Security has been increased at Jewish schools in Sydney after eight men stormed on to a school bus carrying children as young as five and threatened to cut their throats.

Some 30 students were travelling home from school when the man boarded the bus and began to shout "Kill the Jews" and "Free Palestine".

Jacqui Blackburn, whose three daughters were on the bus, told Sydney's Daily Telegraph the children were subjected to to anti-Semitic abuse before being told their throats would be "sliced open".

Extra security was reported at many schools in the area after details emerged.

Police said they had arrested five men - aged between 15 and 17-years-old - in connection with the incident.
