Three top Hamas commanders killed in Israeli strike

Three senior Hamas military commanders have been killed in Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip, the Islamist militant group said.

Hamas named the men as Mohammed Abu Shammala, Raed al-Attar and Mohammed Barhoum and said they were killed in a bombing of a house in the southern town of Rafah.

Hamas denies firing rockets before end of ceasefire

Hamas has denied firing two rockets into Israel before the end of the three-day ceasefire.

Israel had earlier accused "terrorists" of breaking the truce after two rockets fired from Gaza hit southern Israel.

The group has reportedly rejected an extension of the ceasefire after Israel failed to meet its demands.
