Missouri State Highway Patrol and the city's tactical unit are coming to Ferguson, the chief of police for Missouri said, after large protests over a reportedly unarmed teenager shot dead by police. Chief Sam Dotson posted on Twitter:
At the @stlcountypd request, the MO Highway Patrol and our tac unit have deployed together in N County.
We have also sent officers to backfill @stlcountypd officers in the southern part of the county who have been moved to north county.
