Barack Obama has added his support to Ukraine's international aid mission to the city of Luhansk with the Red Cross.
The mission also includes the participation from European Union, Russia, Germany and other countries. The US President expressed his support in a phone call with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the Ukrainian presidential press service said.
The White House said that Obama told Ukrainian Poroshenko that any Russian intervention in Ukraine without Kiev's consent would be unacceptable" and a violation of international law.
