Actor Jackie Chan has said the death of Robin Williams is like "losing a best friend."
The star, in London for a screening of new film Chinese Zodiac, said: "I just don't believe it. It seems like I've lost a best friend. I think everybody feels the same thing."
He added the Hook actor was "one of a kind" and recalled meeting him at the Oscars where he admitted his "mind went blank" when Williams spoke to him.
Afterwards Chan asked Williams' office if he could have his autograph. He said: "He sent it to me. I was so happy. It's now in my office when I walk in."
Robin Williams' daughter has left social media after receiving abusive messages in the wake of her father's death.
Radio station talkSPORT has apologised after presenter Alan Brazil said he lacked sympathy for actor Robin Williams, who took his own life.
He played a wide range of roles but Robin Williams captured the hearts of millions with his performances.
