Hundreds of tributes have been paid to Robin Williams on the ITV News Facebook page.
But while the actor and Comedian was beloved by all, opinions are divided on what his best film was.
Many like Jo Crumplin could not pick a single film and she wrote that she was torn between three of his major roles.
She said: "Mrs Doubtfire, Bicentenial Man and Good Morning Vietnam. To be honest, he was such an incredibly good actor and natural comedian, he never did a bad role."
Others however, opted for a single film, with Mrs Doubtfire, Aladdin and Good Will Hunting scoring highly. Despite its dark subject matter many also picked One Hour Photo.
Nicola Wyldbore chose Mrs Doubtfire as her favorite but said he was "classic" in all of his films. "So, so sad," she wrote.
Adam Archmage Peacock picked Aladdin. He wrote: "Very hard decision to make, but I'd have to go with Aladdin, as it's one of my favourite all-time films, mainly due to Robin as the Genie."
