Olympic champion Mo Farah has won another gold medal for Great Britain, battling through driving rain to claim first place in the men's 10,000 metres at the European Championships.
The star runner went into the lead with 600m left on the track, making a final push to surge clear in the final 60m.
And it was a double celebration for the British team as Farah was followed by Andy Vernon to claim the silver, having managed to overtake Turkey's Ali Kaya in the last few metres.
The win helped bring a smile back to Farah's face in what has been a tough competitive year for the athlete.
He collapsed part-way through the New York half-marathon, finished a disappointing eighth in the London Marathon, and was unable to compete in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow due to a tooth infection.
