Three top Hamas commanders killed in Israeli strike

Three senior Hamas military commanders have been killed in Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip, the Islamist militant group said.

Hamas named the men as Mohammed Abu Shammala, Raed al-Attar and Mohammed Barhoum and said they were killed in a bombing of a house in the southern town of Rafah.

Talks on ending Gaza conflict 'difficult', but truce holds

Talks to end a month-long war between Israel and Gaza militants are "difficult", Palestinian delegates have said, while Israeli officials said no progress had been made so far and fighting could soon resume.

"We are facing difficult negotiations," Hamas' leader in Cairo, Moussa Abu Marzouk, said on Facebook.
