Russian defence ministry has denied reports of a military column crossing the border into eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said earlier Ukrainian artillery has destroyed part of the column after it entered its territory overnight.
There was no Russian military column that crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border either at night or during the day," the defence ministry was cited by Russian news agency RIA as saying in a statement, dismissing the Ukrainian report as "some kind of fantasy."
