'Thirteen more rescued' after Indonesian boat sinks

Two Brits are in hospital after being rescued from a boat which sank while travelling between islands in Indonesia. Another 13 were said to have been rescued overnight, according to Agence France Presse.

The Foreign Office said they were aware of the incident and "stand ready to offer consular assistance to any other British nationals who may be involved."

Foreign Office: Brits may have been on Indonesia boat

The Foreign Office has said British nationals may have been involved in the sinking of a boat in Indonesia.

One British tourist has been rescued and 15 other people remain missing following the incident between Lombok and the Komodo Islands.

"We are aware of an incident in Bima, Indonesia, earlier this morning and that British Nationals may have been involved," a Foreign Office spokeswoman said.

"We are in touch with the local authorities and stand ready to offer consular assistance."
