Sex change boxing promoter Kellie Maloney has entered the Big Brother house.

The 61-year-old, who was formerly known as Frank, is the bookies' favourite to win this year's show and is reportedly being paid the most money- £400,000- to appear.

Celebrities who entered the house before her included Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan, Kelly Brook's fiance David McIntosh and former Emmerdale actress Claire King.

As she went in she said: "It's the most nerve-wracking thing I've ever done."

But within minutes she was asking Strictly star Jordan to give her dancing lessons while she was in the house.

Boxer Audley Harrison, who knows Maloney through his career, praised her as he entered the house saying: "Hats off to you," to revealing her gender reassignment.

Jokingly, he asked her after all this time why she could only come up with the name Kellie. Maloney replied: "I'm dyslexic and it was easy to spell."

Benefit Street star White Dee is also already in the house and is getting a makeover so she can pretend to the American housemates she is the "Duchess of Solihull."
