App creator mum 'only had to lock son's phone once'

"I've only had to lock his phone once!" the mother who created an app which allows parents to freeze their children's phones if they ignore their calls and texts told Good Morning Britain, proof of its success.

Sharon Standifird, from Houston, Texas, created "Ignore No More" after growing frustrated at her son, Bradley's, habit of dismissing her calls.

The app allows parents to take control of their children's smartphones and prevent them from texting, playing games, browsing the internet or calling friends until they get in touch with their parents.

Ms Standifird says it's no different to grounding a child, or imposing a curfew.

Bradley doesn't seem too keen, but says he hasn't tried to sneak his mum's phone to delete the app, "yet..."
