Rosdeep Adekoya who last month admitted killing her three-year-old son Mikaeel Kular, has been jailed for 11 years at the High Court in Edinburgh.
The 34-year-old was initially charged with murder but last month pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of culpable homicide.
She also admitted a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice by claiming to police her son had gone missing.
