Ice Bucket Challenge 'leads to fugitive's arrest'

A wanted man's decision to take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge has reportedly landed him in prison after US police used it to pinpoint his address.

According to NBC News, Jesean Morris, 20, was arrested on Friday after violating the terms of his parole in Nebraska.

A tipster recognised the house shown in the video, where police later arrived to arrest him.

Morris is alleged to have given police a false name and birth date and spat in an officer's face, according to the incident report.

He was put behind bars on the warrent and on suspicion of criminal impersonation, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer.
