Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu was forced to land in Slovakia after Poland refused to allow his plane to fly into their airspace after it changed its flight status from civil to military.
Poland's air navigation authority said it will grant permission for the minister to fly over if the plane changes its status back to non-military.
He has been offered transit to the Russian embassy in the country's capital Bratislava.
