The number of people who left their homes due to the fighting in Ukraine has nearly doubled in the past three weeks, the UN refugee agency said.
The agency said around 260,000 people have been displaced inside Ukraine due to the fighting.
"In terms of the ongoing fighting, in Donetsk, Luhansk and south of Donetsk oblast (district), we (are) very concerned about the risk of further exodus," Vincent Cochetel, director of the UNHCR's bureau for Europe, told a news briefing in Geneva.
