Woman arrested for 'conspiring to commit murder' after Pennie Davis death

A 28-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder following the death of Pennie Davis in the New Forest.

Davis, a 47-year-old mother of five, was stabbed multiple times in a paddock near Leygreen Farm, north of Beaulieu, as she tended to her horses on September 2.

Hampshire Police also said officers have been granted more time to question a 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder.

Family pay tribute to 'remarkable' Pennie Davis

The family of 47-year-old Pennie Davis who was found dead in the New Forest with 'multiple stab wounds' say she was "a remarkable woman".

Police say the body of the mother-of-five was discovered by her husband who she married in May.
