Scotland's former First Minister Alex Salmond is to stand for a seat in Westminster at next year's General Election.
The ex-SNP leader is expected to formally announce his candidacy for the Gordon constituency on Sunday.
The seat is currently held by Lib Dem MP Sir Malcolm Bruce, who is retiring next May.
