An 11-year-old boy was among those injured when a car ploughed into pedestrians outside a Las Vegas casino.

A witness said that he was trapped under the front of the vehicle before being ejected when the driver accelerated.

The witness told AP: "You could see the people literally flying off. And she had one little boy trapped underneath the front side of the vehicle. And she came to a stop and she accelerated again and it's a front wheel drive car and he shot out to the side. And you could see him eject to the front of the vehicle."

An adult was killed and at least 30 others, some visitors from Montreal, Canada, were injured. Six were in a critical but stable condition, police said.
