Children injured after bouncy castle comes loose in Swanage

Nine children were treated for minor injuries after a bouncy castle came loose from its moorings at Swanage Carnival.

One of the children was taken to hospital, while three others were taken to a minor injuries unit following the incident at Swanage Carnival in Dorset. The remaining injured children were described as "walking wounded".

Two children taken to hospital after bouncy castle incident

Three children aged six and seven were injured when a bouncy castle came loose from its moorings at Swanage Carnival.

One child was treated at the scene, while the other two have been taken to Poole hospital with neck injuries.

We received the call at 1.42pm to reports that an inflatable slide had blown over and reports that three children had been injured.

Two of the children were reported to be suffering from neck pain and they have been taken to Poole Hospital.

The third child was treated on scene.

There is nothing to suggest their injuries are serious.

The spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service noted that conditions at the scene were windy.
