Could N. Korean missile threats lose them China as an ally?

As tensions between North Korea and the US continue to escalate it looks as though the secretive state could lose their closest political and economic ally - China - over leader Kim Jong-un's recent missile threats.

It comes as cracks between the two countries allegiance seem to have appeared as the row between North Korea and the US threatens to spill over into military action between the two nuclear powers.

According to reports Kim Jong-un has stopped communicating with the Chinese and now China are said to be ready to abandon a treaty pledging military support if North Korea instigates a missile fight with the US.
