Showers become increasingly confined to western parts through the evening and overnight with some long clear spells, especially in the east.

Remaining breezy with occasionally strong westerly or northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Saturday:

Some bright or sunny intervals and scattered showers, although showers tending to ease through the afternoon.

Fresh northwesterly winds, strong along the north and northeastern coast. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mainly dry and bright on Sunday with lighter winds, chance of rain later in the day. Likely to remain unsettled early next week.
