NI weather: Showers to give way to sunny spells


Cloudy with rain giving way to drier and clearer weather. Showers will follow later, mainly towards the North Coast. Westerly winds becoming fresh and strong on the north Antrim coast.

Rather cloudy with scattered showers during the morning. The showers will be fewer in the afternoon with a little more sunshine breaking through, best over south Down. Fresh westerly winds.

Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Some bright spells on Sunday with a few light showers. Cloudy on Monday with more persistent rain turning heavier. Rather cloudy with further rain on Tuesday and strong southwest winds.
